Gears of War 2 fans have been signing up on the Gears Facebook page page
at a furious pace, all in a push to maximize the next XP haul for the
Labour Day XP weekend. Epic Games executive producer, Rod Fergusson
promised us that for every thousand followers of the official Gears of
War Facebook page, you’ll get another +1x XP for the event.
Around 2 hours ago, Ferguson (Gears Viking on Twitter) tweeted
that around 21 000 fans signed up as Facebook friends , meaning that we
are standing at a massive 21x XP in Gears 2 multiplayer, thus making it
the biggest multiplier yet. In the tweet he also stated that there was
around an hour and a half left so it would have only been open until
midnight PST. So we can assume that that’s it.
So wow, a minimum of 21x XP multiplier!
