MLG Announces First 2010 Pro Circuit Details The 2010 Major League Gaming Pro Circuit is here. We know that you’re as excited as we are to kick off the next chapter of MLG’s storied history. A lot has changed this year, but what won’t ever change is that MLG remains gaming’s ultimate proving ground, where the world’s top pros and talented amateurs battle for the most coveted prize in gaming: The title of MLG Champion.
2010 features some exciting new announcements: The return of fighting games to the Pro Circuit; the addition of MW2 as an official online Pro Circuit Title; the return of Halo with increased stipends for the top players, as well as the return of both the PC Circuit and the EA Sports Challenge Series.

Even though the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta is two months away, an early peek is now available, with of a new trailer from developer Bungie. Enclosed with last year's critically acclaimed best-seller Halo 3: ODST, the beta will apparently offer a wide variety of modes and new weapons included in this fall's sci-fi shooter.
The trailer showcases Halo: Reach's greatly improved graphics. Also featured are new items like jetpacks, as well as new options such as customizable weapon loadouts and assassination moves. Among the new modes showcased are Spartans vs. Elites, Headhunter, and the intense-looking Invasion mode, which sees massed teams of Spartans storming enemy positions with both air and ground support.

Well it’s not for maintenance, and Sony doesn’t know why their
network is down for PlayStation gamers in the United States, Canada and
Australia. While Sony’s blog did state it was down for maintenance for
60 minutes, it wasn’t said when it started or anything and with Sony’s
twitter account saying they are looking into the issue as to why many
users can not connect the PlayStation network so it’s clear that Sony
did not plan this, or did not plan this very well.
There are rumors going around the the PSN is down due to an internal
clock issue. I can’t really see this being an issue though. Maybe
because it’s lovely February going into March a few days early, but it’s
still February so I would think if that was the reason we’d see this
issue a few hours later.

still many analysts have doubts, arguing that the company already has
three gaming devices: the iPhone, iPod Touch and now the iPad.
But there’s one analyst who believes that Steve Jobs and the gang
will make a full play, introducing a standalone console, adding one more
machine to compete with Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo’s systems.
